The only challenging thing with radios is wiring them. I had a professional install it, that would usually be your best choice. It may cost a few $$, but if you find the right place, they'll do it right, and it'll look great. But if you want to do it yourself, usually the area around your radio needs to come off, along with any wiring. Next, you need to buy a wiring harness and it really depends on whether or not you're looking at a double-din, or a single. If it's a single, you will need to buy that little tray thing that sits underneath the radio(it cant remember what it's called, but you can find it at wal-mart). Hope that helps, i'm no car genius, but thats my 2 cents

Try this link below. You left out some important information about your factory system. Anyway, the "Outfit My Car" will show you what you need to install the stereo (click on "View All Installation Gear"). If the price is similar or close on Crutchfield on the HU you are looking at then you will save $ by getting all the free gear and the installation instructions are very helpful. IMO no factory stereo can touch the sound and functionality of a good aftermarket HU. That's my 2 cents.
