Re-bumping an old thread, thanks to NICO and obviously this thread. I was able to meet and now date a friggen fantastic and drop dead gorgeous girl, Lauren! <3 Happiest man the boards, possibly world, sorry fellas!

Unless your in an environment (ie super hot weather) that requires it, or you have a ton of work done to it, its kind of like the VTEC sticker on a honda ricer with a stock block pulling 120hp~

I have an aftermarket radiator cap... ...waiting for the RB.

I live in L.A. so I think that qualifies as a HOT spot. Too be honest...I actually do notice a difference in the engine temp with the cap. I had one on my Murano as well and could see the same difference there.

Why would a radiator cap change the engine temperature unless one is lifting early or late? Basically if the original is not lifting then there should be no change in operating temperature. The Nismo cap lifts at a higher pressure which basically means that it will lift at a higher engine temperature.
