New 95 240sx SR20DET

I have always followed and loved 240s and I just now found mine, I recently picked up a 95 with a blacktop swap. The car has 3" Apexi N1 turbo back with headers, 255 walbro fuel pump Greddy FMIC, Tien Coilovers.

Anyways I'm very happy with it but Its got a few things that I need to fix and I'm just looking to get a little insight before I get into it.

The temp gauge and tach do not work, is this common in swaps? I'm thinking of just getting aftermarket external ones. Any trick to hooking them up?

Also I have seen quite a bit of discussion on which oil and transmission fluid to use but everyone has a different answer, it would be a great help if someone could point me in the right direction with that so I can change the oil and the filter.

I also need to get a boost gauge to see how much the car is boosting because it seems fast as hell, I cant imagine it being that fast with stock PSI I think its around 7 or 10.
