Hi guys!

I just bought myself a new sport package spoiler for the V. My wing has a 3rd brake light LED bar on it.

I have two wires coming from the light, a red one and a black one. The problem is, the wires coming from my original brake light are grey and black.

Don't bash me on this one please, I'm far from being an electronic guru.

My thought were to keep the black wires together. I prefer asking first.

Thanks for all the help.

You can download the FSM and check what each color wire is. I'm almost positive that Grey is +12V and Black is ground. I'd look for you buy I'm heading to work.

The service manual shows connector D407 for the high mounted stop lamp with red for positive and black for ground.

Volt-meter or test light might come in handy here!
