from the sound of the video, this car at least, sounds like an automatic to me, having an 05 auto they seem to shift very quick from 1st to 2nd. at the end of the video when they pull off it doesn't sound to me like a 6 speed, or this guy shifts very gently.

Im pretty dead sure thats a 6mt. The boot housing is a circular and there no sign of any P R N D in sight next to it. Driver just left it in first gear.

The 370z is suppose to be equipped with, if not optioned to have a dual clutch transmission similar to the gtr, which explains the "quick shifting". The car doesn't look as bad as the previous renderings. I actually it.

im not going to argue that it is in auto because im not sure by the picture...thats why i said the picture doesn't prove anything. However, that may not be first but third, where P would be if it was an auto.

Firebird.

M3 smg

GTO

xc90

G37

auto to mt boot swapper (lulz)

Point is that a majority of cars that are equipped with a manul trans tend to have the housing circular to accommodate the gate, where as autos have most likely a rectangular housing. The picture also shows that it doesn't have the "paddle shifters" behind the steering wheel.

Oh yeah and those 3 center gauges dont seem to flow together alongside with the interior..perhaps the angle is just shown from a bad perspective.

Trust me dude thats the manual shifter and this is how the ugly auto shifter will look like and the only reason the pictures look different is because this picture has the navigation so the A/C buttons arent there

I might get the for saying this, but here it goes...

I hate EVERYTHING about this car. It's FUGLY all the way around. Looks like they tried to combine a bunch of other cars into one. Looks like a frankenstein of Honda, Nissan, and Toyota parts. Body lines don't flow well at all, the head and tail lights are sickening (specially that 3rd brake light), and the instrument cluster tried to cram too much info into the same area of previous Z's. Steering wheel-crap. Quarter window-crap. Engine Hood-crap, going back in time to the look of the '03-'06 Z's. Door handles-crap, I don't even like the ones on our cars now. Thinking of maybe shaving them. Sorry if this offends anyone, that's just my 2cents.

if youre on this forum, then most of you have an 03 Z or above...and MOST of us wont be looking for a new car for a few more years...we have plenty of time to see what happens with this car. Don't get too upset if you dont like what you see, im sure a bunch of features will change by the time you are ready to buy a new Z.

i know this doesn't include everyone, so you dont have to explain if you are in fact buying a new car soon.
