i don't care about sunroofs or anything. But when a company, rices out a nice 350z like that gawd....You wonder. I think a country other then france should have bought nissan :D

Rather it be german or british but not french :rolleyes

hell even australia would have done a better job!

so...you would have had over-priced german/british cars with poor build quality?? for once, the french seem to know what they're doing. and, i dont think they're incharge of the design, just incharge of writing the checks. i mean, GM owns pontiac, chevy, buick, caddie, etc, but back in the day, all these guys were separate people who didnt really talk much.

No, we just don't want to drive to work in the Starship Enterprise.

Um, wow. No offense but anyone that says that German cars are poor build quality is either:-Victim of blunt object head trauma-Naive-Is posting whilst under the influence of LSD

For real. NO ONE in the world has higher quality standards than the Germans. They have laws that regulate the quality of manufactured goods there and HEFTY fines are levvied upon companies that produce inferior products. Only the Americans built s*** and call it gold.

I like the old school. Simple, uncluttered lines. Not bulges, fins, wings, and cannards everywhere. But to each his own...

The Enterprise was smooth and round.

I have a huge distaste for extravagant body kits, but this actually looks good.

Yeah, I think the bumper needs a shave, but overall I'd rock it.

According to the article, this version is a very limited production run. IIRC they are building 5 and all are spoken for. The reason for the build was bue to the rules of the JGTC race series. Nissan needed to lengthen the car slightly to improve aerodynamics for the speeds they will be seeing at the track. However, since the cars that are raced need to be based on production models and the changes they wanted to make would no longer qualify the regular production Z as the acceptable production version based on the rules of JGTC, Nissan found this to be the solution. The article in R&T explains this in detail.

I'd drive it.

Dumb import car models would be all over it.

I think it's uber sexy. I've spent way to much time reading that article in R&T, probably read it 5-6 times.

I remember reading that article in the mag. They added a little more power, but all those body add-on's added more weight and the car was just as fast as stock. IMHO, I don't like body kits so I wish I had another set of hands to give that Z 4 thumbs down :thumbd :thumbd :thumbd :thumbd

um, i dont know how many times i've talked to people with mercs or BMWs or Audis or what not that DIDNT have a problem. my uncles Merc was always in the shop, which is why he sold it. a guy i work with had a BMW bad had to sell it because of the maintenance. Audis/VW/Porsche are jsut as bad. i know owners who talk about the problems and costs they've had with their german cars. dont get me wrong, i would drive one, but they're not the same as they were along time ago.

Odd. My roomate's older brother has a 03 A4 that he puts 50k miles + a year on and all he has had to do is change the oil and get 3 new sets of tires (and he BEATS on the car). Likewise, my Uncle swears that his 02 GTi is a lot more reliable than his 95 VX EG hatch that he traded in. I guess that your familys experiences with German reliability are a fluke, becaue everyone that I know who owns a German car is more than pleased with it over the years. Hence why BMWs, Audis, VWs,a nd Mercs always have high resale value. Now Porsche is another story...

i know mercs are not the best in reliability. the non-mexican VWs arent too bad, the newest version of the 1.8T is a great motor, but i have heard nothing that good about the other VWs. Audi's are flaky. the newer ones are much better than the older ones. as for BMWs, my friends own older ones. i just havent heard a lot of good about reliability from german cars.
