Picked up an 06 Sunday, sort of a B-Day present (it WAS my B-Day).

Drove 650 miles yesterday. I was very happy with the performance and economy (averaged 28mpg @70)

Monday after I washed her for the first time

CongratZ on the purchase and welcome to NICO! :badger

70mph seems to be the sweet spot for high mpg's on my Z too, though even with all my highway driving I don't get quite 28 mpg...impressive.

Thanks.

I picked it up today. Here are the springs it has.

The rear shocks appear to be oem. It rides firm but good. Are these springs ok? I never heard of Espelir.

If they are ok what shocks should I get for them?

I edited the original post. It is an 06 sorry about my typo.

Hard wired the Valentine & installed the blend mount

Welcome to Nico :bigthumb:. Nice ride. Espelir springs are a known brand. You can ask Nico member elwesso about them.

Blendmount and V1, nice choice! Make sure you're running Trapster on your smartphone to keep up with all those pesky redlight & speed cams. :argh

Normally I'd go right for the V1, but given my proximity to VA (20 miles) I'm torn between the V1 and the Redline. But I'll be going with the Blendount either way.

Good stuff. :yesnod

Thanks for the replies. Sorry I disappeared. I have been busy though. here is how she sits today:

It's sitting on AMR Engineering coil overs, has G37S calipers, and pretty much every bolt on there is. I installed Crawford headers and an aluminum radiator and silicon hoses Friday that replaced the megens, both Jet Hotted and I have a stroker that has been languishing for a year.

There have been many setbacks and my Wife got sick so the motor is posted for sale but no one is making any reasonable offers so more likely than not it will go in next year.

A few shots of the stroker:

The build has BC Sportsman rods, BC spec 11.0.1 96.5mm .20 over JE pistons and the BC 88mm balanced crank and a Forged solid girdle.

The bottom end has ARP studs already in and I have ARP headstuds.

The heads were rebuilt using new S7 JWT cams & springs, new +1MM Manley valves and Ferrea 350Z Viton Valve Stem Seals. As the Manley stems are +.6mm the valve guides had to be bored.

I have Cometec MLS head gaskets, new 440 RC injectors and SARD 165LPH pump.
