New 350Z owner! Almost

Well, I did something I never thought I would do. I traded in my 05 Legend Lime Mustang GT for a 2007 Solar Orange 350z touring. I babied the Mustang but it just wasn't receptive to it. In the 2 years I've had it, its been in the shop 7 times for paint inperfections, ECU problems, struts, electrical problems with door locks and window motors and gauge cluster.

My wife was buying a Xterra so I had plenty of time to look around. Took a Z for a test drive and I was sold. The only bad thing was it was supposed to be in today for me to pick up but there were scratches so they had to find another? They're looking for another Solar Orange touring with burnt orange leather...The dealer said they had one with tan leather. I told him I would wait for the one I thought I was getting today.

I didn't think I would be this anxious to get it.

Welcome to Nico!and Contrats on the Z!have only seen solar orange in pics, I'd like to see one in person but the 07's seem to be slow coming to my area, I don't see a tan interior being an option on nissan's site, looks like only the touring and grand touring models have the burt orange as an option and all others get black/charcoal, the touring seats look to be orange with black insert and the grand touring can ge the complete orange seat, I think maybe someone simply mis identified the seat color as tan

Congrats on the new Z, I'm hoping to get a used one soon. I used to be a Mustang guy myself, had a '99 GT that I bought brand new and an '03 Mach 1 I got used a couple years ago. Mustangs just don't compare to a Z!! After one test drive, I was sold too! Post some pics of that thing when you get it, I'd love to see the Orange on Orange scheme!

Congrats to you. The 2 cars are not even in the same class. The Mustang being a brut and the Z being as fine as any sweet ride out there. I get looks from everyone. This is one fine car. I personally think its under priced compared to the market.

I to have never seen the Orange and would love for you to post pictures when you can. I did not think Orange/Orange was an option. Maybe someone ordered it special and declined the car and its your luck to find it.

A Nissan dealership near us had a solar orange Z on display last month. The color reminds me of orange sherbert. We want to test drive an '07. If we buy, I want magnetic black. Our '04 is silver. I had a Silver car and got the Magnetic Black, if buy an 07 make sure to check out the frost interior...oh yeah the magnetic black has a blue pearl effect

I got a 2007 350Z Solar Orange also. I love the color! Do you think this will be a 2007 color only or will Nissan offer it in future year models?

Congrats on the new car. I also traded my POC 2006 mustang gt on a special order Z. The stang was always in the shop for something and everyone has one it seems.

Well guys I'm back, my Solar Orange baby finally came in this last Sunday afternoon. What a long wait for that color!!! But, it was well worth it. I ordered the Touring Roadster with burnt orange leather interior. What an awesome car!
