Sorry for another exhaust thread but....

I ordered a Megan exhaust for my 91 NA 2+2. The company is saying that it has to be ordered directly from the factory and may take up to 5 or 6 weeks.

Can anyone recommend an exhaust that will fit the 2+2 for under $700? If I search on ebay all I'm seeing is the Manzo and CXracing exhausts but I haven't really found good reviews for this exhaust on an NA. Has anyone ever purchased one of these exhausts?

Any exhaust shop that does custom exhaust can put one in your car the day you get an appointment with them, and probably for the cost you are looking for.

Megan, CXracing, and all the other ebay sellers likely get their exhaust from the same factory in china. I DONT KNOW THIS FOR SURE BUT CMON! For $700 most good exhaust shops will build you something decent from mandrel bends just make sure the shop specializes or at least does a good bit of performance work, otherwise you'll end up with crush bends and crappy mild steel.

Thank you for the advice. I think I have a shop in mind. Now I just have to find the muffler (I'll probably hit youtube to hear a few). Can you suggest a muffler to take a look at? Also, if I have the shop build the exhaust should there be a resonator built or just pipes and muffler?

BTW - I'll be pics soon. I'm plasti dipping my wheels this weekend so I'll have some pics up next week. Thanks for your help!!

As NoLimit says be SURE to specify at least aluminized steel piping and be sure they do decent bends and not crush-type- thanks for the clarification on that.
I like Magnaflow myself and have them on both of my Z's and love the sound- solid and more than OEM, but not raspy at all and no drone with a correct setup (2 1/2" piping or OEM size), and a decent cost factor as well and excellent availability.
