First id like to say Hello, new to the site. I have been doing alot of searching and cant seem to find an exact answer.
I bought a 94 300zx 2 seater with a TT swap and it has blow off vlaves installed with both going back to the same vaccum source, (picture below) and im getting some iradic idle at times and im thinking this is the cause but it has an aftermarket front mount intercooler setup and none of the stock piping or the recirculation valves. Any advice or information would be greatful. Thanks

BOV are recircs except they are designed to vent to the atmosphere. By rerouting them back to the intake, they've just made them act like recircs. This would not cause an idle issue in either case as they do anything under pressure.

I wouldn't suspect a FMIC to cause idling issues by itself either.

Start with the 6Ps sticked at the top of the forum and pull your ECU codes for a start.

Thanks for the reply.

I know alot of people have said they have had some issues with it and not use atomospheric bovs. Does it matter if the bovs have the same vacuum source? and just to clarify an ecu reset wont remove my tune will it?

I tried to pull my ecu codes but when I try to go into diagnostics mode it doesn't do anything the light just stays solid does that mean my ecu is bad? it has a stillen stage 3 tune.

Resetting ECU just resets the memory for its auto adjustments. Your tune is burned to a ROM (read-only) and can't be reset without flashing the chip itself. Sometimes the potentiometers for the diagnosis mode go bad. You can repair it yourself or send it to TT.net member DVDBurn. The better and easier long term solution is to grab a $30 Consult to USB cable from eBay, and then you can read your codes and all the sensor readings with free ECUTalk software.
