New 240xsx owner

My son has a 95 240sx with auto transmission that wont go into reverse. All other gears seem fine, can someone give me some ideas on what the problem is.

does the park lock still work when put into park, if so then does the car try and creep in reverse with out reving, when rev slightly does it feel like it wants to reverse, if so reverse is blown. if no feeling at all reverse is blown.If this is the case, ask your son does he know how to do roll backs proplerly, it is supposed to be from reverse to drive to do wheelies not drive to reverse.
