Hi everyone, just picked up a 1992 Nissan 240SX SE coupe for $800 everything seems to work except the gauge lights and HUD. Which was my 1st search on here and found a possible fix yay lol, hopefully the 10uf capacitor will fix :) And yeah im kinding about the weird thing under the hood, ive been a Rotor head for a while now. I have a 1983 Mazda RX-7 as well (my baby) that I auto-x at SCCA events in the DFW area occasionally. Looking forward to getting to know more fellow auto enthusiasts and great site you got here with tons of info im sure ill be zombied out on come morning lol.

LOL thanks for the welcome guys :) Loving the site so far, ive found everything ive looked for and fixed it with the exception of my HUD :( but just need to find the 50v 1ua cap and that will be done. Loving my 240 so far and looking forward to ripping it apart for a rebuild on the engine and MT swap.

And no im not putting a Rotary in it lol, silly guy Rotary's are for 7's lol. Ill throw some pics up of it if ya want, ive been working on that 7 for 3 years and rebuilt or modded everything on it :) there just fun and easy to work on. My thoughts on the 240sx engine is to pull it, stroke it and ITB it. Already have a set of ITB's from a honda 954RR I pulled of my Civic before I punted that thing lol. I would turbo it but in my mind nothing sounds better than a tuned NA piston engine running ITB's :)

One question tho.... how do I post pics on here >< stupid question I know but im not real computer friendly lol. Is it the img button up top? And just paste the url from a photo site like photobucket? Thanks for the welcome again and look forward to making some new friends ^^

Hey hey guys :) havent been on in a minute, been tracking down and rewiring the 240sx and trying to fix all the little things first before upgrading anything lol. Previous owner tried to bypass everything that didnt work and rig it and just made things worse, but all i have left now is the highbeams and horn yay :)

Decided to get the windows working today, found some posts on here about it but none of them had pics >< so thought id post what i had to do to get mine working. Mine ended up being the power window amp, had a cracked solder joint and 5 min later I have working windows yay lol. Also thought id throw up some pics of the 7 enjoy!!!

Engine hoist? That's like a box truck for picking up a carton of eggs. You could have just lifted that thing in while enjoying a redbull in your free hand.... just saying and kidding, that old girl looks good.

Well after about 2 hours of scratching my head, swearing and busted knuckles I fixed the leak in my heater core line. OMFG could thos bishez be any harder to get at..... feck!!!! LOL ok it really wasnt to bad once I decided to take the starter off, that gave me fairly easy access to the hose clamps on the 2 heater lines under the intake. And with that done, every single thing is working on my 240 yay. Retrofitted and charged the a/c at work and cold as ice, heater lines fixed and core cleaned I now have heat yay, horns fixed and had to get a new combination switch to get my highbeams to work but done and done :) Now to get to work on the interior and get some rubber on my 15x8 weld ultra lites.
