Ok so i just got a 1998 240sx se. Driving it back home, the rear right wheel got loose.... thankfully i just got off the highway and pulled over to check it out. Turns out 2 of my wheel studs were broken. So i just bought new ones today and when trying to remove the caliper, the 17mm bolt broke off while i was trying to loosen it . fml. any tips on how to fix this?

Thanks

Not really. If you posted a picture I'd more of an opinion.

WD-40 and a bolt extractor. If you don't have a bolt extractor you can try vice grips. Also, if you hit it with a hammer and a brass drift first it will help break it loose. If you still can't get it, heat it up. Not till it's glowing, but heat it pretty damn hot.

Looks like the last person to put your rear brakes on didnt know how to thread a bolt into the threads. Or a nut for that matter.

Unbolt the caliper from the bracket, remove other bracket bolt. Remove bracket.get vice grips and thread out the old bolt. Might need to buy a small torch to heat it up.

Welcome to NICO...and follow all instructions from above also you might want to do a full inspection just to be safe. Another problem with broken bolts is lack of sex....lol

What they said, or just remove the bracket and replace
