Hey all, I'm brand spanking new here and I just bought a '95 240sx SE with auto trans. She's going to be a daily driver as I commute to Rutgers. I'm not going to drag race her, I just want a decent boost in low-midrange power. I did some searching on the forum before posting, but nobody seems to run daily-driver type boost.

My car:'95 240SX SE, auto trans, no LSD/ABS, 106k mi

My needs (eventually, don't have extra cash just yet):1. I want ~200 rwhp2. I *NEED* daily driver reliability, I can't afford to be going under the hood on a regular or even semi-regular basis to keep things running. This is my only car.3. For turbos, I want minimal lag and good response. If this means a small turbo and low boost, so be it. I'm more concerned about 0-60 than 1/4 mile.

So what I need to know is, given the above info and the fact that I won't mind having the engine rebuilt as well, what should I look for as far as parts, boost levels and budgets. Thanks for any input.

you should check out http://www.afterdark-tuning.com/ also check out http://www.nsport.com/they have turbo kits for you car. you can safely boost about 6-7 lbs on your car w/ stock internals. i wouldn't go above that. your going to use a small trubo, probably a t3/t4 turbo.before you bolt on a turbo, you should get the other bolt on's first. and w/ any turbocharged car your going to run into problems and are gonna have to be under the hood. search this site, there's a ton of info on it. nick
