New 240 owner with Starting problems

We bought a '92 240-SX last summer for my son. It is a wonderfull ride.. except in Jan. It stalled when he got to work. No spark!! We replaced plugs, wires, coil, distributor.. nothing. Our mechanic replaced the ECU and it worked.... for a week or so than the same thing. More tests and another ECU.. and it worked again for a week or so.We have spark now but no pulse to the injector. Now he thinks it is the ECU again but why replace it if it is goiung to get blown again?? Anyone got any thoughts or ideas??? hate to see this great car sit in the shop any longer, but we really do not know what this could be. Thanks for your helpD

have the mech check the harness very good and chek in unrelated places where harness passes.also check behind cluster
