Hello All,

Just got my hands on a 91 240sx with 250,000 miles. When I got it there was no fluid in the master cylinder, bleed all the brakes and now the brakes seem to be working. The idle is rough and after reading on this forums removing the aiv sounds like a good start as well as cleaning the maf. I plan on flushing all the fluids soon. Does anyone have any suggestions of things that might should be inspected/replaced. Also I am needing several interior parts such as glove box, carpet, console, seats, steering wheel, etc... anyone know of a good place to get such items for fairly cheap besides your local junk yard?

Anyways sorry for the long post just wanted to say whats up, seems like a nice board with lots of good information.

Picking me up a master brake cylinder from the junk yard later on today, mines leaking a little. Read something somewhere that told how to fix the seat from not locking in place, going to try that soon. Took it for a test ride yesterday runs fine but there is a tick somwhere near the top of the engine. going to have to get in there and check out that timing chain. Threw some import red spray paint on the fender looks a little better think ill sand it down a little then put a couple more cans on it. But the hatch is rough has a few holes from where the spoiler rusted out. Been having fun with it.

600, seemed like a good deal. I didnt really research around at what other 240s were available and what they were going for. Kind of an impulse buy. But I had been thinking about buying a fairly cheap car to fix up for a while.
