New 2012 Hid issues?

I have searched the forum, but there was not too much stuff about the 2012's.
I had an 08 A/C and it was totaled, now i got the 12 and pulled the hid's from the 08 (i was impressed that they survived). they are from ddm tuning and it looks like i may only need to get one replacement ballest.
My man concern is their any issue with the heat of the HID's and any melting of the light housings? the 08 did not have the projectors, so that's the only reason.
(those DDM Tuning kits are sturdy kits, my front end was destroyed, and i did not tie down the kit's because it was winter when i did it.)

2012 with 10k HIDs here. No issue with the heat.
