New 2011 Versa S 1.8 - Dec. 20th

Bought a 2011 Versa on Monday, December 20th. Merry Christmas! 1.8 S version with 6 speed manual and the Power Plus Package. Espresso Black - very cool color. I was really surprised at how responsive the gas pedal is in most gears! Hit the gas & it goes. I'm not planning many modifications, but I'd like to eventually add wheels and halo style fog lights. Maybe some interior lighting upgrades. The dealership filled the gas tank before I drove off (Thank you very much) & I had to fill it up last night on my way home from work. 1st tank - 30.1mpg. So far - I'm impressed.

I've read quite a few of the threads already and am impressed with the work that many of you have done on your car. Whether I carry it that far remains to be seen, but I enjoy seeing your work.

2nd tank fill - 29.97 mpg. I've got 700 miles on it in 8 days. It's going to break in quickly. I'm not babying it, but I'm not burning it up either. Is this ok?

Yeah that should be ok. What is your driving style? How fast are you typically going on the highway?

I drive 66 total miles a day going to work - 5 days a week (unless theres an overtime shift involved). 1/3 city & 2/3 highway. I average around 60-62 mph on the highway.

I will be driving to Texas in April, though and will not be going that slowly. Last year when I made the trip, I drovet between 72 - 76 mph with just a bike and a bag accompanying me. This year, same trip, same cargo, just a different vehicle!

By the way - 3rd fillup---7 gals=30.998mpg. Lovin' it!
