New 2010 Versa Hatch Owner

Hey guys! I am new to the Versa and to this site. I am picking up a used Silver Versa Hatch on Sunday. The car is stock with 10k miles. Got a good deal on it and bought it for a commuter car. I am a big diesel guy and have modded a lot of diesel trucks. So while this will be a commuter car I will be looking to do some modding. Maybe some lowering springs, wheels, tires, etc. Anyway, looking forward to learning about this car from you guys.

I need to get it cleaned up first. Anyone know of a way to tell if you have ABS?

two easy ways for ABS.
1. when you first start out after starting the car, you will hear a bump/clunk/thump at ~15 miles per hour. it's the ABS system self-checking.
2. Look at the fire wall on the passenger side. behind the engine. That is where the ABS actuator will be. It's a silver/black cube with metal brake tubes going in/out.

Thanks, I've heard the clunk. I'll check the firewall tomorrow. I am going to try one of the Rostra Cruise Control kits. That's why I was wondering about the ABS.

Any details on that cruise control kit? I dont have cruise control neither!

The roominess is awesome, especially the head room, especially for an entry level product!
I'm 6ft1, and I found the Fit to be a bad joke in that regard.
I kinda liked the Dodge Caliber, but no Cummins option!
My brother-in-law put a 5.9L Cummins w turbo into an old F350 years ago. Still goin.
No mods tho. Will dig up pix.

just got the windows tinted. I'll clean her up and post some pics first of the week! I love this car more every time I drive it. Going from a diesel truck the MPG are great!

got 20% all they way around and a brow on the front. I wanted to get 15, but the installer didn't have that in stock. It turned out good though. Keeps the sun out and makes the car look better.
