New 2008 QX56 Engine Vibration

Hello all!!!

I just purchased a new 2008 QX56 (2WD) this week and have one concern. I feel an engine vibration in the 1400-1600 RPM range which then goes away. It is not a huge vibration and I “feel” it mainly in the floor of the vehicle. Initially, I thought it may be in the drive train, but I am able to duplicate the problem when the truck is in neutral. Cruising on the highway has the engine in that RPM range and it is really annoying me.

Any QX, Armada, Titan Owners have a similar vibration? Is this normal for this engine? I hope not…

I am tempted to go back to the dealer and see if I can duplicate the problem in another QX on the lot.

Such a shame to be anoyed by a brand new QX! I would definitely go back to the dealer with that one. I am certain they will make this right.

Get a loaner QX while they check/fix yours

It is surely not normal. I have a '08 Armada that is about a month old, no such thing! I had an '04 QX56, nothing like that on that one either. My brother has an '06 Titan, and he has no experience of that problem either. It is not normal, and you should have your dealer check it out. Please let me know what you find out.
