New 2008 Maxima Pricing Question

Just curious if anyone could share their recent experiences with purchasing an '08 Maxima. My brother-in-law is considering purchasing one. Our local dealer has about 5 '08 models left, all $33,000-$34,000. The dealer is offering him $8,000 off the sticker price. Sounds like a sweet deal to me. Just seeing if anyone was able to get anymore than that. I would expect that, but I thought I would ask. Thanks in advance guys (and gals)!

$8K sounds pretty good! I believe that I saw a $6K discount on the window of the 08's when I was by my local Nissan dealer this week.

Edmunds says there is a $4K rebate on the 08's

Yeah, $8k sounds pretty dang good. It's worth a try talking them down a little bit more...since it's an outgoing model. But I'd certainly be happy with a fully loaded Max for $26k!
