Hi all, joined about a week or two ago and its probably the best thing I have done since buying my new G35X. Its a 2007 automatic, no NAV with about 73000 Km. I used the forums to diagnose that the noise my car was making was a wheel bearing / Hub assembly. I took it to a Nissan dealer, where I bought it and found out both front ones are on the way out. It's on warranty, but the Nissan dealership can't do anything and the Infiniti dealer is 5 hours away which sux but I'll figure that one out.

So my question for everyone is what should my next step be for car upgrades?

I'm thinking wheels because the stock ones I have are scratched, previous owner must of hit a curb. I've seen alot of people recommend the R2C intakes, I think its a little out of my budget right now but if its worth it I'll save up. Also where can you get splash guards/ mud guards?

Thanks alot everyone and welcome any suggestions

New rims would probably be a good idea...then use the old ones with winter tires for the white stuff.

R2C intake

If you have a coupe, 5/16s plenum spacer

Finally CAT back exhaust

What did the wheel bearing noise sound like? Was it only under load (turning)?
Did Nissan fix them? If so, about how much $$$

Thanks Joe I think I'll save up for the R2C intake and look into new rims soon. Keeping the stock ones for winter is a great idea. My car is a sedan

SVT the wheel bearing noise was a vibration and almost squealing sound, much worse when turning to the right and above 40 km/hr.
My Nissan dealership is trying to get Infiniti to send the parts to them for the install on my car save me from driving further away. It will be free the car is still under the power train warranty

So just an update. I was able to get my G fixed at a Nissan dealership after talking to the service manager where I bought the car. In the end it cost me 20 $ for shipping of the parts, but the sound is gone and my G sounds good again.

Sorry it took so long for an update I've been busy at work lately
