Hey folks, new Altima owner here. Got a few questions. I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place.

So I bought a 2010 Altima 2.5S with just the factory CD player. I dont think its the Bose system or anything like that and it certainly doesnt have the factory Nav, which sucks cause I didnt realize they came with that. So I would like to upgrade to a new headunit that has a bit more power and stuff like that.

Just so I'm clear, the stock Nav headunit can't easily be swapped into my car, correct? What would yall recommend for a decent double din headunit with at least a USB input? I would love backup camera and bluetooth but Im sure that would make the price jump alot. Price range is $500 or so, maybe a little more, but not a lot.

Attempting to install the premium package OEM unit with Navigation wouldn't be worth the cost to you. Particulary since your budget is $500. Check out the likes of http://www.crutchfield.com to get a sense of the different types of DD aftermarket Navigation options are available to you within your budget. You may be able to locate an OEM-Like navigation system for you car, but you could expect to pay at least $1,000 for the product. :)
