New 09 Coupe 3.5 SE owner

Hello everyone.

I just recently purchased a 09 3.5SE Coupe WinterFront, and I am loving it. LOL

I got it used and it is a base model with no navi or bose system on it. It does have fog lights, aluminum kick plates, and the turning lights though.

Been speeding over 100 a lot on the high way... I know it's a bad thing

So far, I have a couple of mods I want to do to my coupe, but I have NO experience in car modding or anything like that...

I've been reading up a bunch of Nissan altima coupe forums and finally understood what H1, H9, and H11 meant...(light bulb sizes...) after 3 days of reading lol

So what I am trying to say is... the world of car modding is brand new to me and I would like some help please There is a lot of terminologies that are still very new to me... but I am learning. just very slowly..

These are some mods I have in mind and will very possibly get in the near future

1) tint

Do you guys know any good brands that you guys recommend? and I know there many types of tints like UV-reflector, heat-reflrector, etc...

Which one should I get?...

I think my car already came with some tint built-in in the windows, but I would like 35% all around.

2) HIDs

I read up on some Xentec, DDM tuning, V-Lids, retrofit, etc...

Which one is the best?

Pardon my stupidity. For my coupe, I know the low beam requires H11 and the high beam requires H9.

Are the low beam bulb and high beam bulb two separate bulbs in the headlamp assembly? If so, do people usually get the high beam bulb also?

Do you guys lower the angle of the HIDs when installed to prevent blinding?

If I get the 5000k or 6000k HIDs from either Xentec or DDM, would I have to buy another type on housing for the bulb in order to prevent melting or producing glare?



I know this is a lot of stupid questions that I just asked... I am sorry about that haha. I just want to learn as much as possible from experts like y'all!

Yea, I know it'd be fun haha. But it's like a 4 hours drive for me and I've been watching FIFA all day lol...
too bad USA and Korea lost... I rooted for both of them

Anyhow, I will definitely attend some Dallas car meets once I am up there. I really wanna learn more about my car and how I can mod it!
