I just picked up a new black on black maxmia. I was wondering what i can do to the car as far as looks, lights, sound, and mabey some performance. Any suggestions on sites to visit or what to have done would be helpfull. It is fully loaded and i just put new michelin pilot sport a/s on as well as had the car tinted but for some reason they said the could not tint over the top part of the rear window because of the dots. Thank you for your help. Pictor.

Welcome to NICO and congrats on the new purchase!

Are you looking for looks, performance, or a mixture?

first thing you should do is put a xenon hid kit in the foglights, and leds on your interior and plate....

First off welcome aboard, there's pleny that you can do, it just depends on where you want to start!! HID fogs is a good start. Lowering always makes a car look a million times better too!!

Thank you. Any good sites that cater to maxima for things like hid fog lights, lowering springs and such.

Unfortunately the 6th gen doesn't have a wealth of mods available!Check these out though:http://www.cattman.com (Brian is a great guy)

As for HID's I've bought from these guys before:http://www.tech1hid.com/

I recommend allowing the car to breathe and handle moderately better; front and rear strut bars, front and rear sway bars, intake/headers/exhaust. You will have a very nice handling/performing maxima then. Course, 6th gens are dang strong out of the box.

I would recommend checking out http://www.stillen.com, http://www.sportcompactonly.com, and http://www.cattman.com. Stillen and SCO are both NICO sponsors, you may be entitled to discounts as a NICO member.

Should you have any questions about different products, please be sure to ask.

The most immediate differences which can improve looks are tint & rims.Just got my Maxima tinted this wkend.

BTW, they tinted over the upper black dot portion of my rear window with no problems.

Another idea is to get one decent photo of your vehicle and a simple photo-editting program like Google's free Picasa, then cut & paste various rims to your photo until you find one that looks really nice on your veh.

This is the easiest way to "try before buying." Pretty cool, eh.

These rims are the Nissan upgrade 18" chrome rims:
