So I am obsessed with buying an 07 Z. I am having trouble figuring out which model to get. I would also like to know what other people paid for theres. I am looking to spend under 30k. I am guessing that eliminates the one model I really want which is the touring (all my cars have had leather in the past). I guess my main question is if the enth. is worth the extra 3,000. I live in NJ so I'm thinking I may need the traction control in the rain and snow. This car will be a daily driver and I don't plan on many mods, just audio, and maybe some cosmetic things. I like the pedals on the enth. and I have become addicted to my auto dimming mirror in my Maxima. I'm figuring I can add these things later if I got the base. My other main problem is I can't find many colors to choice from on the lots? I want to stay away from the silvers and that seems to be what every dealer has. I would like either black of the San Marino Blue. I have found a Daytona blue, but not sure if I like it?!?! I guess I am babling a bit here but this is consuming my life:) Want to make sure I make the right desicion. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased a base model simply b/c I didn't see the extra $3K for the Enth. My car is not a daily driver, so, I'm not too worried about not having luxuries. If you have the extra $$ go for the Enthusiast model. Living in your climate, the traction control and LSD will be a big help. The 2 things that the Enthusiast has over the Base that I'm not sure if or how they can be added are Cruise control and Traction Control. Everything else can be added, including the mirror (which is only like $200) So, the decision is yours, I traded a car in on my Z, sticker was $29K after dealer add-ons, I paid just under $27K. Whichever one you get, you will definitely enjoy driving it!!

I would avoid the Base. I live in Hershey PA, with winters we have you gotta have traction control and a limited slip for a daily driver. If your financing $3000 it will only cost you 50-60 more per month. I just bought an 07 San Marino touring for a daily driver and it's a great car.

I forgot invest in 3M Clear Bra for the front end. If you drive it all winter the cinders will mess you up bad. This stuff is awesome, I got it on the Z and my H3.

I bought my San Marino Touring for $30,000 here in TN. I was told if I bought the enthusiast that the dealer could install leather for around $800. I decided on the touring because I wanted the factory leather and power seats. The Bose stereo isn't that great but it does have a 6 disc changer that I like. Good luck with your choice. How I see it, you can't go wrong , your buying a Z!

my vote is go Touring...especialy when you are used to leather...for me I just can't go back to cloth..every time I see cloth I try to dust it...cuz it looks dusty...but either way dont go Base..the extra money that you pay for the Enthusiast is definitely worth it.

Got a Base in black. Got a good price on it 27,500, but of course they ripped me on my trade. So all said and done, I basically paid just below sticker 29,000. Got a good rate on a loan 5.7 for five years. That basically closed the deal. Love the car, think I made the right desicion on the base. Couldn't afford the touring I wanted, and didn't think the enth was worth the extra 2,000 and also could not find it in Black locally and of course I couldn't wait for someone to order it:)

You probably won't believe this but I will pass it along anyway. There is a Nissan dealership in Morristown, New Jersey who was running an E-Bay ad for the base 2007 model in White, Red or Silver for about $2,000 under factory invoice cost. It was about $25,700. These were new cars. I called and the salesperson responsible for the ad confirmed the price. I, of course, verified the factory invoice cost. I bought mine here in Las Vegas for factory invoice cost. Hope this helps!
