Hello,

I'm the proud new owner of a 2006 Infiniti M35x with Nav and Advanced Tech. I live in the Boston area and look forward to enjoying this car to its fullest.

Black Obsidian, Bourbon leather, Navigation, Tech Pkg with XM-radio, Rear Spoiler, only 14K miles , etc.

I considered a BMW 5-series, Audi A6, but I was sold on the on the car's overall package of price, performance, looks, and features.

Would you believe I drove the car home but due to some business travel it will remain 'undriven' for the first week!

Welcome to M35X ownership. I have had the same car (different colors, no spoiler, same options) for 28 months.

I considered the exact same cars when I choose the M35X. I might choose the A5 now over the M35X (more get and go, manual transmission, and same options).

Considering where you live, I would get a set of winter tires, on separate rims, or get a better set of all-weather tires, like my Norkian WRs. The OEM tires are not very good.

Welcome to NICO!

I think a number of people have commented on the price-performance of the car compared to BMW 5-series and others in that class. Every one of those cars has its merits, but it is the combination of it all coming together so well in the Infiniti M series (for the right price!) that makes it sell!

I love my '06 M35x. I bought mine on e-bay. It had 31 k miles. I paid $32.5k last November. Definitely needed new tires-the OEM RSA'S are crap.

I still have a lot to learn about what the car has for features. I guess that is basically a lot of reading in those owner's manuals.

There are some really nice features which I'm sure I'll learn to love. Each time I drive it I learn something new... I should have had the dealer show me more than the very basics!

Unfortunately I'm also noticing things I wish the car had, but those features for my next car (folding mirrors, iPod input ... I know there is a workaround, front and rear park assist audible alerts). No big deal, just more nice-to-haves.

You mean Power folding mirrors? or just folding mirrors in general.
