Well boyz, I did it. Just went to test drive today and loved it. Had exactly what I wanted: 6MT with graphite interior, premium and aero packages. At $500 over invoice, I couldn't refuse. FREAKIN LOVE THIS THING. Goes like stink, lol.

Looks good on you.

I thought G35 coupes were chick magnets, guess I was wrong.

The only thing I don't like about the '06 is the smaller spoiler. The interior makes up for it though. Nice car!

Thanks fellas, been having a blast with the VDC off. Wonder how long these tires are gonna last. On the highway I need to use the cruise because it is so smooth I wind up over 80 cuz it feels like 55 and I don't even notice.

Welcome to NICO! You will love the car for sure.

The OEM tires are not very good, so you will love wearing them away soon enough anyway. Then you can get some tires worthy of the car!

That's great that you got your new ride. It's funny because I have been on the edge of getting rid of my s2000 to get a g35 for a few months now and a couple of weeks ago I decided that I'm pretty sure I'm going to do just that. Then I come on the forums here (It's been days) and check out this topic and here you are getting the exact one I want:) I don't mind saying that I'm kinda envious.

I wanted to get the Laser Red for sure, MT Coupe for sure, premium package and graphite leather for sure. There's none of those on the lots around here though. I have to order it and it takes like 3 months the dealership says. This is actually a good thing though because I have time to save up some dough for a down...plus now I need to sell my S2.

Anyway that was a bunch of bs, but I figure logging on here and seeing the exact model I want to get is a sign that I really will be getting it....hopefully:)

I was working my deal online. Was told the same thing, that I'd have to order. Low and behold a few weeks later the exact car I was looking for showed up on his lot. When I test drove it, it was over. Fortunately I got it for $500 over invoice and am still happy with it. I was told it was one of only three like it on the eastern seaboard (who knows). Good luck with your choice.

One of 3 like it on the Eastern Seaboard huh? That would be very cool for you, but that guy sounds like he's full of it. I can't stand dealing with car salesmen sometimes. I tried that job out for about 1.5 weeks and it just wasn't me. It takes a certain type of person to feel comfortable with that job I think.

Anyway, regardless of that $500 over invoice sounds awesome to me. That's just over $35 grand for the premium package and aero package and in the upper $36 grand if you got navi. At least this is what cars.com says.

Thanks for the info on the, "we'll have to order it" bit. Hopefully you will see a pic in here of mine in a few months...or sooner

So which tires are the BEST for the Sedan?? I like to take fast corners and want the best possible traction in the rain.

I decided to get the Ivory Pearl instead. I got more options than I wanted, but I got a good deal so I'm cool with that.

You got a great deal at 500 over invoice, I was more like 750 over invoice. I will have a better pic soon.

LOL!! I have to do the exact same thing. The ride is so smooth you have no clue how fast you were going - I was going 90 passing someone...with my kids in the car (I just barely put a little gas on to get around the guy). Yikes!

Congratulations on your new ride and welcome to NICO!
