Overview:

This is a cheap and simple mod designed to save people the $10-$20 they would otherwise be spending on a "drift knob" that cost less than $1 to manufacture.

Difficulty: **

Time: 1 hour

Cost: Free

Tools: - drill with small bit- flathead screwdriver- pliers(optional)

Materials:

- keyring or a piece of solid wire\

Procedure:

first remove e-brake cover

second use flathead to bend tabs that hold spring in place(optional, remove spring with pliers)

third reinstall e-brake cover

fourth use drill/bit to drill a SMALL hole in the thumb knob, careful not too high and not too low

fifth install keyring or whatever thru knob

last put up tools,go for a drive and test.

good luck
