I'm so pissed. I've been trying to bolt the damn compressor to the block for almost 2 hours. It looks like the AC line is going to be right in front of the turbo inlet pipe... this is such a PITA.. anyone who has kept your KA compressor what year was your car and whitch bolts did you use?

You'll notice in all the install's that you have to bend the lines if you use the KA compressor to make them work.

Sounds like fun, Get it on tape.

BTW, My DOHC compressor bolted up with two bolts, Top closest to the radiator, and bottom farthest from. Lines needed some "alteration"

ok. i THINK that my ac was dealer installed. all of the bolts line up. (they form a square just like the SR one) There is also a big canister on one of the lines just abov the compressor.

Anyway it turns out that the bolt right in the middle of the SR bracket was hitting my compressor so i had to remove that one bolt from the bracket into the block and then it bolted on. All the holes lined up but i only put in too because i wasn't finished being pissed off... Now i just have to get the line off of the waste gate rod and i'll be golden

I'm sure I'll be running into this problem this coming week or next week too with my ka ac system I just received.
