I've searched but my problem seems to be different from all the other posts I've found. car:89 nissan 240sx engine: redtop sr20det The swap was done over 3 years ago and was running great until the other day. all the wiring problems happened in this order one after another in the last 2 years.problem 1: radio just stopped working.

problem 2: door locks stopped functioning properly. (ex. I lock the driver door passenger door unlocks.)

problem 3: alarm stopped working

problem 4: fuel pump stopped working

problem 5: starter stopped working

The fuel pump and starter problem just happened the other day. I started the car up drove it and parked it. 3 hours later I went to start it and it kept stumbling then would die. after repeated attempts the battery died. I finally figured out that my fuel pump wasn't turning on. I jumped a wire from the battery to the fuel pump and it turns on, so the fuel pump is fine it's just not getting power. Now while working on the fuel pump the starter has stopped working.

What could be causing all these proplems to happen? is the wiring in the entire car just bad and needs to be replaced? where should I start looking for bad wires?

yeah just get a new harness....mine went to shi* blinker started working when it wanted, starter issue etc, etc... it's a tedious job but its easier then chasing gremlins in a harness that is installed.

That sucks I was really hoping for an easy fix. Now where would be the best place to get a harness? is there anywhere that sells them complete? or do I have to hit up the local junk yards?
