It must be either a Coupe thing or a NY thing cus i carry a bat in the backseat too lol... we have the bronx river parkway over here in white plains and its a tiny 2 lane highway too and i have people trying to catch up with me aswell. mostly the coupes draw alot of attention cus simply its a sexy car n there are alot of people either hating or just trying to check um out. then u have the ricers and people who bought a car they cant handle testing you. f*** it man....enjoy the car and ride the motherf***a till the wheels fall off... NY STAND UP!

Are you freakin for real? Obviously you carry a bat because probably you yourself provoke anger from others by the way you drive.

I have no problems of people wanting to enjoy their cars, hell I enjoy my car probably more than some of you guys, but when that enjoyment is done in a reckless matter and puts innocent people at harms way, I draw the line! Wanna have fun, take it to the race track where it's controlled not on the public streets where you can take the life of an innocent kid in a car seat! Nuff Said!

hey ur totaly right and na im not out provoking anger or trying to put anyone in danger... its the areas im in sometimes... ima lil dude.. the bats there if i gotta handle my business if it comes to it. love the car tho.. i like the positive attention it brings when im at a stop light and a car full of people pull up breaking their necks...i had too many friends die in accidents. cant be wreckless in a car that i hate getting even a scratch on!

I don't know why you guys are defending him for this behavior. He states numerous times in this post and in another that he consistently drives like a jacka$$ and admits to cutting off multiple other drivers while racing on public roads.

Your own actions resulted in the damage to your car and you acknowledge that without any shame or regret. I have no sympathy for you.

sorry to hear phenom.. Could u get the police involved?? Tell them he attacked you and dented your car. They cant prove you were driving crazy unless their is a witness. but i guess they cant prove it was him that punched your roof. If he has any record it would be your word against his. Might be more trouble than just fixing the dent.

lmfao, i had something similar happen to me last week, i was on the freeway wen my lane was about to end, i sped up and so did the corolla next to me, of course my car is WAY faster so i end up getting in front of him. I guess the dude had a bad day at work or something cuz he started following me. I get off on my exit n hes still on my A$$, so i get this bright idea on how to lose him. I take him to this mile long street that has a Crazy a** turn at the end, like a 5mph turn but i know this street very well n know just how fast i can do this turn. i smash on the gas, hit about 100 n i see him trying to keep up behind me, well i know that the turn's coming up so i hit the brakes n do it at about 20mph, the dumbass didnt see the REALLY sharp turn coming, smashes on his brakes, tires start screetching n all i see outta my rear view mirror is him hitting the guard rail. i felt kinda bad but he deserved it lol. it wasnt too bad of a hit. Probably enough for him to need a new door, bumper and fender. lol anyways i just thought id share my story.

Don't kid yourself. It sounds like you have an inflated view of your own driving abilities. It is the 'invincibility' mentality very typical to teens and young males.

Even if you are a professional race car driver, you have no control over what the other people on the road are doing. When driving on a public roadway it is your responsibility to drive 1) in a predictable manner; 2) in a way that provides others ample distance and time to react to your actions. Screaming around a 2-lane freeway is neither of those things.

I hope you don't have any NICO stickers on your car because I for one would be ashamed to have your behavior associated with this community.

never said i was "invincible" i know for a fact that i can f up wen driving or someone else can.....BUT i do try to anticipate what others do first soooo yea idk where ur going w/ this bc as i said i understand that its NOT smart to do....but i do it. Yes i know to some this may be a d!ck move or just assanine BUT nearly this whole forum street races if not all forums. People on here love cars and "cutting sharp corners" or "listening to their engine" but either way we all love cars, and w/ cars you have racing and its going to happen either way. On or off the road it will happen. Maybe if there were more tracks that people could use then there wouldnt be problems, but there isnt.

As a PAST Street RACER in cars wayyy faster than our Altima's, I am a huge advocate for increasing knowledge within the younger generation that PROHIBITS them from using the public roadways as their personal racetracks. I get the thrill aspect, the power feel, the endorphine rush of it all. Butone day it will bite you in the buttocks! Big Time.

Eventually, when you realize that there are innocent people out there with you just trying to drive home or otherwise and minding their own business and you do something like this unexpectedly, you pretty much deserve the reaction you get.

I remember being a little girl and a guy racing with his friend down a one lane mountain road and nearly sideswiping our car (my dad, mom and younger sis and bro) were in the car. We were in the mountains and it nearly pushed us off the cliff. My dad found the guy at the bottom of the canyon (in the parking area) and beat the crap out of him in front of us.

We lived yes, but only due to the fact that my dad reacted quickly enough in his driving to keep us from plummeting off the cliff.

Its just stupid to think you can play God with everyone's lives just to satisfy your own need to race. Self-restraint, a conversation with the pontiac driver to go somewhere else, or just being a responsible person goes a long way.

We know we shouldn't street race, some of us street race once in a while.

I know that racing on public roads is a horrible idea. I for one am not going to say I don't race, if somebody revs their engine at me, whatever I'm not going to waste my time. If me and a friend are cruising down the freeway, fu*k it, let's have a go for a 1/2 mile or so.

I know my car pretty well, I have very very little driving experience (3 years) and because of that, I don't push myself. I have never been in an accident on the street (once in a parking lot), and I would like to keep it that way. If I am going to switch lanes while speeding I will make sure that there is enough room in between me and the car in the lane I'm going to so that they don't freak out or get pissed, I also make sure that with that distance I won't scare the car that's in front of me. If there is not enough room to have both drivers stay calm then I won't do it.

I speed, I have raced before, I am not a professional and know that there is a great chance of an accident if I drive recklessly. We all get urges once in a while and I'm sure of that, some just act different with the urges. We are all old enough to know the consequences, and I would hate for someone here to get in a wreck, but it's on ourselves. I don't blame anyone else for my actions, especially while driving.
