Neutral Safety Bypass anyone?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Hey guys, I'm looking for some info on bypassing the neutral safety switch in my '95 sentra xe (automatic), as it has become rather contrary lately. First it started acting up only in park, so I'd stick it in neutral, and it would start fine. Now it needs a bit more effort to get the thing going. I know bypassing it isn't really the ideal thing, but its probably all I can afford.

Any info or hints in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

To by pass, you have to hook the wires together. You could replace it just as easy, don't see it being an expensive item.

Thanks for the info, but it wasn't the switch after all, it was the cable!!

If it is a manual transmission, its located behind the clutch pedal.
