They are talking about cutting the internet up into zones.
They are trying to get rid of all adult material, and make people pay different rates, depending on what zone your working in. Slower service; you pay less but you get slow speeds, and the faster you go, the more you pay. As much as hundreds of dollars. There some very powerfully positioned Christian fundamentalist (Exclamation on the mental) backing this push, as well as senators.
so I'm trying to get the word out for people to do some research, and sign the many petitions that people have started online. Just use Google and search up "net neutrality" to see all the discussion and what not regarding this issue. It is sad, very sad, that people cant see that it is a parents job to police their children and family, not ours. And that were going to pay for it. It started with the Columbine shootings, and now its come to this. I'm sorry to say, but video games cant make you go crazy and kill people. If anything, many study s have shown that they are a healthy outlet for aggression. And promote problem solving skills in younger children. But here again people refuse to take control of there own destiny's, and take care of the their own family's. They expect us to shoulder the burden of parenting there kids. If I wanted kids i would have kids. Don't make me raise yours! Its basically video games have a rating system, same as a movies or dvd's. They range from E-A for adult. There has not been very many games with an A rating as of yet. And I'm not sure in this country there ever will be. But video games are a art form of sorts, and should be protected just like comic books. When they started out everyone said they were bad, they made them set up a standard of censorships, and self policing to make sure nothing but approved images made it to print. Are we living in the world of someone else's creation, or are we going to make a change? strike out for freedom of speech and such. Because if it weren't for that; JWoos AWSOME SITE probably wouldn't exist, drifting would not exist, nothing fun would exist ever! Because if its fun its bad, pretty much in the eyes of these people. So here is a link to the Google net neutrality petition and lets keep our internet free and keep a watchful eye out for people trying to stamp out our freedoms. YOU GUYS ROCK!

HAPPY HUNTING
Maybe now it is readable.
I fail to see what video games have to do with net neutrality though. And video games aren't "Art" they are a "product". Ohh they are creations of peoples minds, and they can be beautiful. But when I think "Art" I think of Music, paintings, writings. not GTA4. Calling video games art is a bit of a reach IIHO.
And if you want me to take you seriously, and consider your ideas, not just dismiss them. THEN LEARN HOW TO USE FREAKING PUNCTUATION AND CRAMMER WITH SOME SPELLING MIXED IN! Now I'm not the best out there with the engrish language, but at least I know what . , ' ! ? : ; " all mean.
Also, the internet is not free. Get over it. Do you have any idea how much the infrastructure cost to build??? Not to mention the maintenance and upgrade cost. Do you have any idea how much a major ISP spends on bandwidth, or a company like Google spends on server farms? Sure it's "Free" to use their service. But some one is paying the light bill every month to keep all of that gear up and running, along with all of the salaries of the employees who maintain all of that high dollar infrastructure. I though net neutrality was more about open networks and non-teared services, no QOS, and the like. If I own a network, and I can't implement my own QoS how I want to serve my customers best, then why in the hell would I spend a red cent on any of it. You tell me that I can't allow latency sensitive data, or E-commerce priority over some jerk=off stealing music. Then I will gladly tell you to GTFO my network. Weather anyone likes it or not it is money that drives the internet. Be it Pr0n, E-commerce, or some one paying their ISP their monthly fee. And if those company's can't control their network, and control who access it, how they access it, what data rates they are allowed, and how long they are allowed those data rates, then the interwebs will be useless. Because that same jerk-off stealing music and all of his buddies have been camped on the same pipe you are sitting on for the last three days, and You can't check Nico because they have the same priority as you. And things where invented and ideas where shared long before the internet. Things like books, magazines, speeches, conversation, etc, etc, all passed along info from one person to another.
Don't get me wrong though, I don't think the government needs to inject itself into peoples lives anymore than they already have been allowed too.
