Neon lights are not illegal. However, neon underglow lights are if you turn them on while driving. Underglow lights are commonly found in Honda's and any other 2F2F spec cars. They also help Honda drivers park their cars with 18" wheels at night. When they can't see how far they are from the curb with their 12" side view mirror, they simply turn on their neon lights to prevent their wheels from getting scratched.

My suggestions is, buy as many neon lights as you can. They improve your visibility on the road and help prevent drunk drivers from hitting you. Also, girlz dig the lights!

According to law,

No light shall be lower then 6” so ground lights fail (unless you have a jacked up SUV)

The reason for this is not to distract drivers, there are allot of old people out there that do not know what ground lights are, they might stop and cause an accident

Legal places for neon:

Inside the car, as long as you can’t see the neon directly.In front of the car, (not under, on the front) and only white or amberIn the back, only red

The following colors are the only once you can have legally: white, red, amber

The skyline in 2F2F sucked! Every mag that tested it said they didnt know skylines could be so bad. The nitrous wasnt hookedup and i dont remember exactly what was done, but something like they disabled the AWD so they could get better shots in the movie, or something like that. Such a shame. If i ever see neon lights on a 240SX i will personally take out my lug wrench and beat the living **** out of it. Dont waste the 240s abilities by making it a Honda. PLEASE!!! And you are talking about undercar kits right? I know you cant have like blue or red neon lights in your car where i live because those are police colors.

Who cares about the law it's a bad idea and that's it. Tin snips do wonders on neon straps.

There was a riced out S13 in the warehouse sceen. It's blue with a big a$$ aluminum wing on it. It's in the middle of the pack.

in florida u can have neons as long as the bulbs arent showing for about 20yards i think it was and no blue or red,also it cant pulse

You'll have to check your own states laws and regulations. As a general rule you can put them anywhere you like on your car as long as you never turn them on.

#1 2f2f is super gay. #2 neon lights on the out side of the car are pointless and retarded, but i have red underglows -the color of the car- inside the car, 1 under the driver side to show off my momo pedals -witch are also color matched- 2 there are some on the pasinger side just to make it even.... so in retro spect thats no to the out side yes to the inside, joust dont over do it

Just because yall dont like them doesnt mean nobody should have them me personally some cars are just flat out gay when they have them but if they are done right they can look okay. Its all about what u like

I like neons but don't think they should be on some cars though, like 240s; for one thing 240 sit to low, they will get cracked! I think its not illegal to have them on your car in most states but it is illegal to drive with them turned on I guess because it can be a distraction.

Yes but here in florida you can drive with them on except blue or red and they cant flash and the tubes half to be unseen.
