A number of issues with that article.

Are we still complaining about multi disk games......seriously we are still complaining about multi disk games.1. Had MS released a Blu Ray version of the 360 this article would have a paragraph going "Releasing completely different version of the console or Expensive external drive to play the best games" and id be 100 - 400 dollar poorer cuz id'a bought the new console or peripheral.So ill take the multi disk games, and Arcade owners need to man up....if you are an avid Forza player you already own an HDD anyway, if not then hard luck, chances are you arent an avid enough gamer....yeah im going there.

THen it talks about losing one disk? We shiit if you are unorganized enough to lose 1 outta 2 disks theres a big chance you would lose the 1 blu ray anyway so that point is moot....not just moot, silly.Losing disks LOL!

Insulting Forza 3s quality? It may have some flaws but Forza 3 is the most complete racing game ive ever played...yeah the AI can still be retarded but honestly that takes a back seat once you reach like level 10 cuz then you cant help but go online. 100+ bucks for a hdd upgrade, loosing external drive support except for MP3. I still use the Mp3 feature but whats the problem with me backing up my data.

GTA4 prob will be making its way over to the ps3 at some point in time. Fallout DLC was timed and R* likes money so im guessing this time next year we should be seeing some if not all of them.

RROD is a huge issue. Buy a console then have to open it up and fix what the manfacture should have done. Dude if Sony had this issue you would be ranting and raving on how poor the production quality is.

OH Nali... I am sorry to hear all the fanboi rage from your post. The dude is a PSN supporter, but almost all his claims are legit. You're just tired of hearing them all the time.

- I agree about multi disk gaming, it stinks but if it effects the price of games, then it would bother me. I am not sure what Froza 3 cost but if it's $55 or $60 then who cares about multi disks. Don't get me wrong if the multi disks are done wrong (ie middle of a map you need to pop it in) then yea I am pissed. If it is just extra stuff like in Forza 3 then not a big deal, kinda annoying but better then having it as DLC or making me buy a Xbox Blu ray player.

- As for the Arcade owners, I laugh at your point, because what was once a PLUS for Xboxers is now a "hard luck". And now what was once a NEGATIVE for PlayStationers is now a "haha, way to save a few bucks to compete with PS".

- The whole Forza AI fail, I would sweep under the rug... BUT all I heard spewing out of your mouth is HOW BAD GT's AI is, oh but now Forza's is flawed all you have to say is "Oh, well people will with out a doubt go and play online so it doesn't matter". I never want to hear another word about racing game AI with you.

- $50 for online, now a days is silly. Xbox doesn't provide enough for it to be worth it any more. $50 pays for Major Nelson and Jessica Chobot's input on games and tips. Great, I couldn't find all this free... online.

- RRoD GTFO? HAHAHAHIDK about you but when I spend good money for something I expect it to work. MS failed, admit it. Is it an easy fix, sure. I remove my RRoD every 5 months or so but that doesn't make it right. It has nothing to do with people being lazy. These things shouldn't happen any way you slice it.

There are a couple valid points there about xbox live cost but when he spregs out for 2 paragraphs about the horrors of disc swapping and describes star oceans 3 disc's a "Fiasco" I sorta quit reading. My girlfriend plays those jrpgs and I think the total amount of time spent disc swapping is 30 seconds for the entire game, when i borrowed my friends PS3 to play MGS4 I had to spend 10mins installing it at the start then every chapter required an additional 2-5min install.

That article made some good points. But it supports the point I made in the other thread: the only people who use the word "fanboy" are fanboys. Just hearing that word makes me want to put my fingers in my ears and hum loudly until the person vomiting filth at me stops talking.

Two points are worth addressing, though:

The hard drive/storage media situation is ABSOLUTELY a joke. I agree that MS should support flash drives as well as user-modified hard drives. I also think it's ridiculous that many consoles don't allow you to freely copy your save files around. MS is not the only guilty party there. I can't even take my SSB Brawl saves with me to use on my brother's Wii. It won't let me copy them off the system memory. That's bulls***. Plenty of Xbox and 360 games are this way, too. Of course there are ways around it...but there shouldn't NEED to be ways around it. They're my game saves. I'll do with them what I please.

Next issue he covers is the repurchasing of consoles.That's the stupidest complaint I've ever heard. If you have a collection of $60 games that only work on one console, you don't replace that console with a different one. People who replace their failed Xbox 360s with PS3s are the morons in my eyes. That's throwing money out the window. At least when you repurchase a 360 you go on playing the games you already own.

The nobody cares is refering to dredging up a well-known issue. Its been fixed. I've got an early 360, had RRoD once, Ms fixed it and its been fine since. Its on 12-18 hours of the day 5 to 6 days a week.

You should be happy that have you the wiilingness and skills to fix it yourself. Otherwise you'd have to send it to MS and not only pay of it (I'm guessing its out of warranty) but also wait for it. 240 drivers should be accustomed to fixing stuff anyway. In a way, it kind of reminds me of my HUD woes.

Indeed, I never would of thought it would bother me that much but OMG I went nuts! One second I am planting claymores and shooting SAS in the face, then I read "Please Connect your Controller" and this process repeated every 5 mins.

The "dredging" of that issue is a valid point, but Xboxers are just so numb to it that they don't care, but for those who don't use Xbox, it is much worse. Also I fix my 360 about every 5 months. It is soo annoying.

It is always on, I think I turned it one when I got um because it makes my tv/PS3/Xbox seem more like surroud sound. Why is putting it on Matrix bad?

No reason i figured you connected ur PC to them in 5.1 in which case matrix would only take what comes through the center/sub channel and project it evenly over the remaining speakers.

But if ur using it for PS3/360 then matrix mode is right.I use mine for my PC.

Ahh I see, I have it setup so the primary out put is what ever my TV is playing. Unless I have the RGB set up I use a 3.5mm male that goes into my headphone jack for my POS laptop. So even with my comp the Matrix is necessary.
