Im almost done with my neo swap in my s13. my motorset didnt come with the shifter assembly. So, can I jsut use a s1/s2 rb25 shifter assembly or like tt z32? theres also some wierd thing beside the oil filter i have no idea what it is, maybe some type of oil cooler.. anyone with a neo please chime in thanks.

its an oil cooler, radiator coolant flows through it to cool off the hot oil..i have yet to swap out my stock style shifter so im afraid im no help in that area...

the ka shifter appears to be identical except for rediculous highth...seems to shift fine in the car im currently swapping.

I need to see where u connected some things. if u could get some angles that would be awesome.

also, how much transmission fluid should i put in. since i dont have a shifter im looking straight down the into the hole. should i just fill it until it tops off or where the little round thing is inside that the one end of the shifter goes in?

how much oil u puittin in ur neo? i had a s2 rb before this car and i put about 4.5 quarts in..should i dothe same for this motor?
