Backing up her LR3 and didn't notice my car until it was too late. Oh well I guess it's time for a new bumper.

My wife just did that with our I35. Didin't have it quite 2 weeks. She backed out of our driveway, neighbour's father's Volvo cross over was parked on the street across from our driveway. The rest is history. The 35 is going in for a new bumper cover and tail light assy. on Monday. Also pushed the rear quarter forward about 1/8". Guess they'll have to pull that back somehow?

I lucked out and it was just the cover. Second time that this car has been hit while parked on that part of the bumper.

As long as the quarter panel is not affected, repair cost should be less than $500. Much cheaper if you remove the bumper cover itself and take it to a body shop.
