89 240sx with 18" bodyrot stress fracture at union of left frame rail / strut tower. $3,000 estimate repairs not reccomended. unroadworthy, front end compromised by being driven with damage. Drivetrain is in good condition. suggestions?

its in the works.

the s13 weak spot seems to be the base of the strut towers. they rot, stress fracture, and separate from the frame ruining the alignment. assuming a relatively solid frame is located, other than arresting the corrosion, is there anything that can be done to preserve the structural integrity aside from not taking off ramps at 60 mph.

thanks

I had a strut tower fracture at 55K on a 1988 Ford Tempo (what the heck was I thinking when I bought THAT car!?!??!) and Ford fixed it for free....on a 60K miles warranty. And that was without salt...
