Ok , this is the situation , i bought my 240 hit , and i took out the engine to fix the hit in the front just to make it easier, (i had nothing better to do ) , now the guy said that motor was working fine when i got it , i never started it cus things were in the way , now i put back in the motor and i converted it into manual , it was auto before , now the car is not starting from the key , when u jump it directly then the engine cranks but yet still it doesnt want to start , its getting gas , its getting spark i dunno what could it be again , i dunno if being that i changed it over to stick has to do something with it , i dunnooooo please helppppppppp!!!! thanks

how much and where is it getting gas? does it have the correct fuel pressure 34 to 36psi and are the injectors pulsing while cranking the engine,this can be checked with a $6.99 GM noid light at autozone.

i dont really know about the injectors , but , when i pull out the gas inlet hose and crank gas flows like a pipe , so if do the check on the injectors and there isnt any pulse what should i do then ? also do i have to do any electrical when doing the at to mt swap ? because on the fuse box in the engine bay , three plugs are out , and those plugs goes into to the at , could this be the problem or no ?

the only thing the trans harness connections will do is not cause it to crank over at all. but you say it has spark so i know its cranking over. you need to see if the injectors are pulsing allowing fuel in the engine. pull a spark plug and see if its wet with fuel.

heres a wierd tidbit. when i did my auto to manual swap with my sr i had a no start issue. it would crank with fuel and spark but not run. i found out that the ecm was not getting the start signal so it was just gassing and sparking like the engine was running regular at really low rpms. you should not have this issue but it could not hurt to check. if you suspect its a no fuel issue spray a bunch of carb cleaner in the intake and see if it runs for a sec.
