My A/C and audio controls on the center console stops working, although the A/C is blowing at full blast! Can't control from steering wheel either. My car is now at 75,500 miles and I had an OEM radio installed two years ago when this first happened in 2009. So far, I have had four more refurbished OEM radios installed but it kept on blowing up. I read from the forum that it is best to remove the radio and install an after market one. Is this true? I also read that the radio is draining too much battery , thus blowing up the entire circuit board. Could someone please your experience if you had this issue? I refused to take it to the dealership in Houston because I was quoted $1500. My friend also had a G35 and she had the same issue. Took it to the dealership and had her radio replaced but it blew up again in less than 9 months. Dealership said she had to pay for the radio plus labor. So taking to the dealership is NOT an option for me. Please help!!
