looking to pick up a set up Vossen vvscv1. set is 20x10.5 +42 Front w/ falken 275/30/20 rubber and 20x9 +38 w/ 225/35/20

I do not have sport brakes, nor any suspension mods on my 08 G35 RWD sedan, non-sport model.

i plan on getting an eibach pro-kit at the same time.

i have looked over the every tire size calculator/guide on here and i am unsure about this.

what do you think? can anyone offer a picture to compare? also, would you recommend spacers? if so, how much and what kind?

thanks friends

Well hopefully your specs are a typo, as you have wider wheels listed for front than rear...;) But I know what you meant to ask and those specs will work, the 10.5" w/42 offset is good, but the 9" w/38 offset may need a 10mm spacer. The other problem with getting wheels/tires that almost sit flush with the body lines of the car require it to be dropped to look right. I see you are going to do the drop with the new wheels so, that will be a plus.

The tire size calculator is not really the tool you need to start with. Wheel Offset Calculator is where you need to go to see how the wheels are going to fit. You will need the specs from the OEM wheels to plug into the calculator to compare with wheels you want.

you are right, i did transpose F and R. thanks for correcting me. what lug pattern does my car have? obviously i know it is 5 lug, but i do not know the diameter (?). this set of wheels is 5x114. woudl this work?

i see you recommend 10mm spacers. i assume hub-centric is the way to go and what kind should i get?

Yes hub-centric to eliminate any vibrating issues.

are there standard sizes that spacers are available in or can they be purchased to correct any offset?

i dont want these wheels to stick out too much. no further than just flush with fender, and I def do not want to have to trim anything. do you think i would have this problem?

No, not even with 5-10mm spacer up front.

thanks for the advice.

just so I get an idea on pricing for the spacers, i am looking at Project Kic 10mm spacers and they run ~$200. Is this for one/pair/four? I did not see on the website, which is JDMUltimate.com, where it said how many. Are they normally sold individually?

Sold as a pair. I would also get the hub centering rings as well if they have them. If not, not big deal as the wheels are lug centric as well because of conical shaped lugs. Just make sure to take the weight off the wheel when putting the lugs back on until you get 1-2 of them snug.
