unless your plan on taking up your whole trunk and i mean your whole trunk theres hardly anyway that your going to have enough room to port a 15 inch bl. that sub needs at least 3 cubes airspace to even operate correctly and that is on the small side. you can look on FIcaraudio.com and it tells you the specs but it seems you dont know much. if your trying to make that sub operate properly ud better plan on taking out your spare and having no trunk space.

i know this already..lol. im asking if anybody has been able to fit a 15 inch sub period, if so, could i get your dimensions, i know the sub needs 3-5 cubes of space, and i've got threads on an actual audio forum, i know everything i need to about the sub including the specs, and what ill need minimum if i want it to actually bang with a ported enclosure. but like i said, my problem at the moment is getting the dimensions b/c the fact i suck with my measurements, ive had some trouble getting exact dimensions b/c of all the curves and bumps, etc...and i have to get this right because the guy lives no where near me.Ive got someone building the box for me, and we've already gone over how small our trunks are, and the fact that i may need to remove the spare, but the fact is i know i CANT use a slot port because of how much room i dont have. Which is why ill probably be going with a couple aero ports instead. The whole deal is, im asking if anybody has the max dimensions with or without the spare in the trunk. Also, theres no way to take up your WHOLE trunk unless you plan on slimming the box and giving it an odd shape, which some people do, but personally i dont want to, idealy, im trying to get the dimensions i need for a rectangular aero ported box that will fit and contain anywhere between 3-5 cubic ft, it doesnt NEED to be 5 ft, and i dont need to push it as hard as i can, im perfectly okay running the minimum space requirement, i just need it to fit and sound good.

And P.S. Its not that i dont know about the sub, im looking for the dimensions of a box that will fit our trunk, or the dimensions of our trunk, and i know the site address, i wouldnt even be able to build and order the sub if i didnt, let alone know what FI's are, and i wouldnt be able to pick and amp to push it if i didnt know the specs, and i know the requirements, etc...which is why im asking dimensions so i can figure out what i will have done. I came HERE for help first because well ya know, i figured i would most likely catch the dimensions i needed from other altima owners, considering i drive an altima, and so does the the majority of this website. lol. And trust me, i dont use my trunk space, i know some people do, but i dont mind having none if it means being able to fit this FI BL 15.

I'd measure it out, but my whole trunk is custom and I don't think the floor is at the same height as yours. It can be made to fit, but I don't know the specific dimensions you should use to have someone build you the box. Though I would agree that you will almost certainly have to pull the spare to get it in there.

ill have it measured tomorrow hopefully, i had a 2.5 - 3 cubic foot dual 12" enclosure that fit snug, its been a while, ill find it anf put it in so i can measure the room i have to grow, create a card board mark up, take a little away for precaution, and get the final dimensions.

Myt box is 2.6 cubes with a single aero port. It is possible to get upwards of 3 cubes. your main dilemma might be mounting the sub. you can possibly mount it rear facing but your bass might not make its way to well into the cabin. I have 2 10s tuned to 28 hz but my box is so tightly fit around the sides that it doesnt sound as good as it should unless my subs are facing forward, but then im losing spl. What made you go with a 15. i think a single 12 would have been more than enough. i used to own an fi Q 12 which was in 2.5 cubes at 32Hz. good luck with the box and be sure to post a biuld log. im interested in seeing how this turns out.
