Hi everyone, I'm looking for the rear air spoiler for a 2002 Infiniti QX4. My girlfriend just bought one (loves it!) but the air spoiler has a chunk missing out of it (maybe a rogue bird?). It is hinge mounted with 4 screws. Thanks for your help!

Yikes.... Hope your pockets are deep!

Just keep in mind those prices are before shipping and probably before paint!

Welcome to Nico!

Wow! I saw someone on here in a previous post sell theirs for $50. I do believe I'll be searching some salvage sites. Thanks for your help!

I thought about it. It would leave to inch long "posts" that the deflector screws into, but for $350 +/- I think I'll take it off.

lol Rogue bird. i took mine off and sold it on here for 75 not too long ago when someone was in need of one. i hate the way they look plus they act as a huge air brake. get about 1mpg more now lol and with the whopping 18hwy these things get it helps a bit haha. FYI when you remove it you can either get hinges from a spoilerless pathfinder or cut your posts down and round them off with some sand paper. now keep in mind the posts are hollow and they will need to be filled with something unless you want to look at holes inside your old posts lol.

1 mpg improvement is very good to me, considering the % wise. I might want to take the no-so-good looking spoiler off. By the way, Nissan derler price for one hinge is about $50 each, one side hinge is under $50 the other side is above. They are not symmetric. Online price is much lower at http://infiniti.sewellparts.com/oem-cat ... -2004.html.

I called them just now trying to make sure the picture is not a generic one but really is the hinge with no post for spoiler attachment. A rep says it is not for spoiler...
anyone knows for sure that P/N 90400N and 90401N are NOT spoiler version? I am about to order them.

Thanks.

Yeah mine broke and the posts really bother me. I'd be interested to see how your conversion goes.

I haven't ordered yet. Have you all seen this newest post here "A Spoiler For Better MPG's?"
Now it makes me re-think. I wish I had the simulator to find out QX4's Cd, and what makes it lower.

Well looking at Courtesyparts it does look like 90400 and 90401 are not the spoiler version.

I assume it's very easy to take off and put on these hinges, correct? I never did any body part before.

Took a look at the hinge. On the glass side, there are two screws, easy enough. On the frame side, I think I need to take off the plastic trim piece off to access the screw.

I had to replace my trunk window and did not have any problems.
