GTR seats FTW!!!!!!!!!!! OEM Nissan, so they bolt in, and they are manufactured by......Recaro i think, so they are good for "spirited" driving, and they recline, i love mine, i recommend them to ANYONE who is looking for something more robust than stock, but dont want full blown buckets

hmm so i guess if it's just a street car it's not worth it huh...i dono i wanted to spice up the interior a little bit with steering wheel and seat but i guess they shouldn't really be on my top priority list...

i think i'm gonna hunt for some S15 seats. are they a lot better than s14? also i heard r32's don't bolt right in so i guess i rather get S15.

i have R32 seats, and they DO bolt right in, the only thing you have to do is very slightly modify(extend aut an inch) the rear outside mounting hole, the other 3 bolt right up

and the s15's wont bolt up, you ave to modify the brackets and there WAY more expensive

THEY what

my buddy bought a pair of these seats for his car but they are the cloth not the fake leather. i was actually impressed with them. might pick up a couple for my car since spending 800+ on a seat is f***in rediculous to me.

Wrong. I have a set of s15 seats. They bolt in without any mod. Search around if you still don't believe

Well except that you need to swap buckles to work with stock seat belt.

^yea they look real good. just wondering these..."universal sliders" how would i get them to fit in my car?

also i did hear s15's are direct bolt on, never heard of anyone having an issue. r32 though i did hear they don't bolt up in 1 spot like you said. what would i have to do to bolt that up?

For the price of an s15 seat shipped cause youre not gonna find a local pickup.. in my eyes isnt worth buying over the 2 buckets my friend has. But then again its up to you, ill be getting pics of those for you 2morro btw. The red is bright and would def spice up your interior. If you were to buy them though or any seat for that matter of fact you should sit in it first make sure its comfortable to you.

if the OP is getting a full bucket, or any kind of bucket seat, you may want to consider getting a quick release steering wheel too. Makes it a ton easier to get in and out.

having to modify something to work does NOT mean it BOLTS right in.

THUG LYFE - listen to me.

Get a Nardi classic 330. Just a GREAT wheel. You will never regret it.

Also, if you want something that is nice for cruising around and easy to install, I'd say go for the S15 seat.

If you really want to hunt, try and get R34 GTR seats. Generally they are super hard to find and super expensive, but they are badass as far as stock seats are concerned.

Very true. I'm not a huge guy (5'10" 170lbs) and can get by with raising the steering wheel. If you're much bigger, you'd wan't a QR.

If you have other mods (clutch, 5pt harness, etc.) it sucks huge coconuts to drive on the street. I always feel pretty taxed after cruising.

I concur with the s15 seats, only because of their form. I can't offer any first-hand opinion on their comfort level.

Its sounds like you don't really need racing seats or really new seats at all. Take your car to a place that does upholstery work. They can reuse the seat frame, replace the foam with firmer foam to make you feel more connected, add in lumbar support to help your back, use memory foam, and pretty much make the seat do whatever you want. They can make a custom set of seat covers out of neoprene, vinyl, leather, cloth, or whatever you want. I am fairly sure you could have both seats redone in leather for less then the cost of two entry level racing seats.
