Alright so heres my problem. i have a 90 240sx hatch with the ka24e sohc motor.I will drive my car, starts and runs fine..after about half an hour or until it gets hot, it will start to run like crap i press down on gas and it like stutters to get on it, also when i go to park the car and turn it off wait like 15-20 minutes or so and go back to turn it on it turns over but hesitates to start and i have to pump the gas to get it to start completly.

I have replaced radiator and thermostat and that has not fixed it, also the compression numbers are good. I dont know if the fuel injectors could cause this or what.

Any info or suggestions would be really appreciated

I am going to recommend the obvious. A comprehensive tune-up to include fuel filter, vacuum line replacement, and clean all connectors of corrosion on top of everything else that goes with a tune-up.However, if you are still running on the stock 18 year old fuel pump, you may want to start there.

Try replacing the fuel filter, my car did the same. I tuned it up now it runs back to normal.

gumby has pretty much got it right. my '89 240sx had the EXACT same problem. did a tune up, ran better for a while, but the pump ended up being the problem. totally died as i rolled into my driveway.

i would say check the maf or if you still have a cat check to see if the stuff on the inside isnt messed up getting clogged.
