need with speedodmeter

Everytime im on the road my speedodmeter acts retarted going up and down from time to time it goes from 0 to 100 or from 90 to 0 at times when im not going at these speeds. i often lose my speed and i dont get it back until i stop to car and start driving all over

have you mess with your speedo needle?if you did,it might be just loose and pull it out and reset it back in again see what happend.
