i don't have a tach to compare the rpms to. the only way i would be able to adjust it is to set the tach at idle to around 900 rpms. so a friend of mine gave me his auto meter tach adapter.Carl H wrote:did tweaking the stock tach like i mentioned not work?

I have a Defi Tach and it did work just connecting it to the #7 pin on the ecu.
