need wiring help on auto seatbelts

i have had my s13 for a year and ive been stopped a bunch of times for no seatbelts so i am trying to repair my automatic seatbelts they have never worked so i pulled the panels and ran a twelve volt charge and a ground directly to the motors wires and the motors run fine i have also checked all the fuses and they are good , i have tried tracing the wires to find where they get there power from but its a labryitnh if anyone could tell me how to get them working i would greatly apreciate it i just started working on this car myself so im still learning...haha i feel like an *** im a helicopter mechanic and this car is kicking my *** daily thanx

It might be a bad seat belt computer which is in the center console under the armrest, FYI if you did not modify the system or can make it look original again They have a lifetime warranty from Nissan in accordance with the NTSA's auto seatbelt laws from these years when it was mandatory. If you have a warranty book that came with the owners manual it states that it is under warranty, take this in a the dealer won't argue with you if it is or not. Many times the dealer says that you have to pay to fix it and they charge Nissan anyway for a double profit.
