Anyone ever have to get a round wheel lock taken off? If so, how much did you get charged, or did you take it off yourself?

If it's a Nissan OEM wheel lock you can take it there. Otherwise, if you lost the key your'e SOL and have to break it. Good luck w/ that.

It's on my POS eclipse. I took it to pep boys for the never ending break problem. They said they put the key in my glove box, more like their tool box cause an eclipse isn't big enough to lose anything in. Anyways, I picked up one of those impact sockets that has the reverse threads. Ironically, I bought it at pep boys (screwed again by manny, moe, and jack). Hopefully it works.

The threaded wheel lock/ lugnut remover worked really well. Only $20. I used that, a 3lb sledge, and a breaker bar to take them off. Then I used a vice, 3/8" extension, and the sledge to remove the wheel lock from the remover. Took about 15-20 mins.
